EC bans bags with Vajpayee pictures

Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath on Sunday ordered the banning of free public distribution system carry bags bearing the picture of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee across Himachal Pradesh ahead of the November 4 Assembly polls.

“We are taking this step after Opposition parties complained to us today,” he said.
