HSBC's growth projection at 5.2% for the current financial year incorrect: Montek Singh

Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia on Thursday said gross domestic product (GDP) expansion was likely to improve to eight per cent annually in the next two to three years from below-six per cent at present. He also termed HSBC’s projection at 5.2 per cent this year incorrect, saying the second half was likely to be better than the first half.
