Final View On Mascarenhas Fate After Cvc Report

The ministry of civil aviation would take a final view on the charges levied against Air-India managing director M P Mascarenhas, who retires today, only after the central vigilance commission submits its recommendations on the CBI report. The ministry, however, continues to stand by its earlier position of holding him guilty of corruption.
