Recently, a State Bank of India (SBI) ATM in Delhi allegedly dispensed fake Rs 2,000 notes. While the police are investigating the source, SBI says it has a system to monitor the quality of notes and “the possibility of fake notes from the bank’s ATMs is very remote”.
