Congress and Trinamool supporters were left disheartened yet again on Tuesday night when top leaders of their parties failed to reach a mutually agreeable seat-sharing equation.
Congress leader and Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee along with other senior leaders left their meeting, undecided on sharing of seats. The failure to resolve the pending issue has once again highlighted that both parties are still not ready to compromise away from their intended share of seats in the assembly polls.
