Meet for model schools, ITIs

The Planning Commission and the human resources development ministry would devise two schemes to start 5,500 model schools and industrial training institutes with private sector aid in the 12th five-year Plan. Details were discussed at a meeting of Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia with ITC chairman Yogi Deveshwar, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd Chairman R C Bhargava, and Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Group Uday Kotak, among others.
