Even as Orissa government is in the line of fire from the Opposition and environmental activists for alleged diversion of water from Mahanadi river meant for agriculture to industrial units, the state has ruled out the suggestion to form a Water Commission to settle the row. “There is no need to constitute a Water Commission. Committee decides on allocation of water keeping in view the interest of Orissa,” said state industries minister Raghunath Mohanty.
