Obama likely to visit India soon

US President-elect Barack Obama has said he would like to make an early visit to India.

Obama expressed his wish for an early visit during a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh this morning.

The Prime Minister, during the telephonic talks, had extended an invitation to the Illinois senator saying that a warm welcome awaited him in India.
