Odisha CM inaugurates mid-day meal kitchen

Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated the central kitchen for Mid Day Meal (MDM) at Keonjhar. He also flagged off the first vehicle carrying food material to the Ranki Ashram Vidyalaya and served food to the school children. Essel Mining & Industries Ltd (EMIL) had signed an MoU with the state government to provide infrastructure and logistics facilities for the MDM Project. The MDM complex, with modern kitchen and steam cooking facilities, has been constructed at an investment of Rs 6 crore.
