Air India passengers were a harassed lot as many of its flights were cancelled on account of the agitation by the airline executive pilots, which entered the second day today.
Passengers were seen making a beeline at the airline's counter at terminals 1A and 1D of the Indira Gandhi International airport here, after it announced cancellation of flights.
Those who booked their tickets through an agent had to face trouble, as the airline officials at the counter refused to accept the claims saying that the amount would be refunded only by the agents.
"I have been in Delhi for the last two days due to the cancellation of flights. I left for Chandigarh from Lucknow yesterday. My flight was in the morning but it was cancelled so the airline accommodated me in an late afternoon flight," said Veena Gautam, an official of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard), posted in Lucknow.
The airline also provided accommodation to the passengers whose flights were cancelled.
