Rlys to earn crores using sites for commercial purpose

Railways has identified about 133 of its sites lying not utilised for commercial exploitation in prime locations in cities like Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore.

The combined area of all these sites measures around 3,744 acres and these have been entrusted for commercial development to Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a railway PSU, said a source in the railway ministry.
