"Though we are getting a lot of enquiries from Pakistan, we are finding it difficult to cater to the customers of that country due to security concerns," C K Ranganathan, chairman and managing director of Cavin Kare, a leading fast moving consumer goods company manufacturing cosmetics and beverages, said here.
"Gradually, we are strengthening our presence in the foreign market but in Pakistan, we face lot of difficulties to enter," he said.
Stating that there was lack of free movement of trade between Pakistan and India, he said, "In Africa and Sri Lanka we deliver fairness cream and shampoo products as per the requirements.
"Though we get a lot of enquiries from Pakistan for our products, we are unable to deliver them due to strict rules in the Islamic nation. Frequent bomb blasts in that country also do not auger well for free trade," he said.
