SRISTI, TUFE to promote cross- cultural innovations

The Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions (SRISTI) has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tianjin University of Finance and Economics on Wednesday in a bid to develop incubation, fabrication and design centers that will promote cross cultural innovations in China and India.
Both organisations will strive towards pushing the frontiers of extreme affordability to promote inclusive and harmonious development of grass root level innovations. The MOU was signed by Anil Gupta, coordinator of SRISTI, executive vice chairman at NIF and Zhang Jiaxing, the President of TUFE, at Mumbai. While cooperation between TUFE and SRISTI had been going one for the last seven years, this MOU is also the outcome of Zhang Jiaxing visit to SRISTI based in Ahmedabad last year. Some joint initiatives include the setting up of an international registry that will provide recognition, respect and reward to green grassroots innovations.
