Project: Automobile factory

Location: Singur, West Bengal
Status: Tata Motors pulled out after prolonged protests

 

COMPANY: SALIM GROUP
Investment: Rs 90,000 crore (total proposed investment)
Project: Special Economic Zone/Petrochemicals Park

Location: Nandigram, West Bengal
Status: Project shelved after wide-spread violence
