UGC NET 2017: CBSE Issues Admit Cards. Simple Steps To Download

The National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 is conducted on November 5, 2017 (Sunday). The University Grants Commission (UGC) had officially announced the detailed notification for the Test which will be conducted for Assistant Professorship or a Junior Research Fellowship. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Admit Card for the Test. Note that Admit Card can now be downloaded from the official website (cbsenet.nic.in) along with the Image correction option till the date of the examination – November 5, 2017 (Sunday). The Admit Cards would bear the details of the center as well as reporting time.

The official notification said the Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the UGC-NET (NOVEMBER) - 2017 at different centres located in 91 cities throughout the country on 05th November, 2017 (Sunday). The e-Admit Cards of candidates (who have paid the fees) have been uploaded on the NET website cbsenet.nic.in. The candidates are advised to download the e-admit card of UGC-NET (November)-2017 from the website. In case any applicant is not able to download his/her e-Admit card, he/she may contact CBSE Helpline Nos. : 7042399520, 7042399521, 7042399525 and 7042399526, between (10.00 AM to 5.30 PM) on working days or email on net@cbse.gov.in mentioning full details/problems. The candidates may note that no e-Admit Card will be sent to them by post.

How to download: Candidates must visit the official site cbsenet.nic.in. On the home page, search for the link for Login for Admit Card & Image Correction and click on the same. On the new page, provide your registration number and password to login to the website. Once you have entered the information, you will be directed to a new window would to view and download UGC NET November 2017 Admit Card. (Direct download link here). About NET UGC 2017 Examination Details

UGC NET 2017 will consist of 3 papers (Paper I, Paper II and Paper III). Candidates need to attempt the 3 papers in three different sessions. Time duration for Paper I and Paper II is 1.25 hours each and for that of third paper is 2.5 hours. All three papers consist of objective type questions. The first paper is of 100 marks, has 50 questions all of which are compulsory. Similarly second paper too is of 100 marks, has 50 questions all of which are compulsory. The third paper is of 150 marks, has 75 compulsory questions.
