Daiwa starts AMC business in India

Daiwa Asset Management, the money management arm of Japan’s Daiwa Securities, has started its fund management business in India. Daiwa Securities had announced a buyout of Shinsei Asset Management (India) in March last year. The company was renamed Daiwa Asset Management (India) after the acquisition was completed in December, it said.
