Dhanalakshmi Bank, a private sector bank, today said its net profit grew by 17.85 per cent to Rs 8.78 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, from the corresponding period a year ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs 7.45 crore for the same quarter last fiscal, Dhanalakshmi Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income rose to Rs 108.10 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 87.61 crore in the corresponding period last year.
For six months ended September 30, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 18.30, against Rs 13.50 crore in the same period a year ago.
Dhanalakshmi Bank was trading at Rs 32, down 1.69 per cent on the BSE.
