Private insurer Future Generali India Life Insurance on Tuesday announced the appointment of Munish Sharda as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Prior to this, Sharda has worked with Aviva Life where he held the position of director, Sales and Distribution, for the past five years.
Sharda has also worked with Citibank India where he spent over 10 years in consumer lending. "Sharda's in-depth understanding of the financial services industry, coupled with his leadership qualities will strongly contribute to further extending Future Generali's success in India," Generali Asia Regional Officer for Asia Sergio Di Caro said.
