The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) purchased $518 million dollars in the month of April on net basis, according to data released by the central bank today.
RBI purchased $3,298 million while sold $2,780 million in the month.
In March it had purchased $820 million dollars on net basis. Its outstanding net forward sales came down to $8.2 billion in April from $ 11 billion in March.
