RBI`s inter school quiz competition

For promoting financial literacy among the school students, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the first time is conducting an all-India RBI inter school quiz competition namely “RBIQ”. The competition will be conducted among students of class nine to 12. RBIQ is being conducted to create an awareness and interest about the history and role of the apex bank, about banking and finance, other banking institutions, economics, current affairs, personalities and events that have contributed to the growth and progress of India over the years, stated an RBI release. After the elimination round in more than 30 cities, the zonal finals would be conducted in mid-November, 2012 and the national final would held in Mumbai in the third week of December.
