Country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) on Tuesday said that it would put more retail products in the and use analytics to study spending habits.

"In the digital space, will now put more retail products. This is because adoption in the will be more quick as compared to conventional transactional banking", chairperson of the bank said.

"But is low at seven per cent. Even including corporates which borrows in the forms of bonds and commercial papers, the credit growth will be between 7.5 per cent to eight per cent", she said.

She said that given the macro parameters of the economy, credit growth from the banking system was low.

Regarding recruitment, she said that bank was taking in probationary officers from the time to time. "But the number of recruits will be lower now", she said.
