The Government has taken up steps for installation of Radiological Detection Equipments (RDE) at the entry/exit points of five Integrated Check Posts (ICPs) at Attari, Agartala, Petrapole, Jogbani and Raxaul. The Government has also issued a Global Tender Enquiry (GTE) for procurement of Full Body Truck Scanners (FBTS) for five locations at Attari, Poonch-Chakkanda-bagh and Uri-Salamabad on Indo-Pakistan border, Petrapole on India-Bangladesh border and Raxaul on India-Nepal border.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in a written reply to question by Shri Rajendra Agrawal in the Lok Sabha today.
