Navy Helicopters

Replacement of helicopters depends on the stipulated service life.The Request For Proposal (RFP) issued for procurement of Naval Utility Helicopters has been retracted. Defence Acquisition Council in its meeting held on 29th August, 2014 has taken decision that the current tender for Naval Utility Helicopters was to be retracted and a fresh proposal under 'Buy & Make' (Indian) category be initiated.

This information was given by Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar in a written reply to Shri P Nagarajanin Lok Sabha today.
