The President has accepted the resignation of Shri Vinod Kumar Duggal, as Governor of Manipur and Mizoram.

The President has been pleased to appoint Dr. Krishan Kant Paul, Governor of Meghalaya to discharge the functions of the Governor of Manipur and the Governor of Mizoram, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Manipur and Governor of Mizoram are made.
