Railways to Run Six Special Trains to Clear Extra Rush for Mahaparinibban Divas

As instructed by Minister for Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Central Railway Zone (Headquarters Mumbai) has decided to run six special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus/Dadar to Sevagram/Ajni/Nagpur to clear the extra rush of passengers on account of Mahaparinibban Divas of Bharat Ratan Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on 06.12.2014. In addition, Konkan Railway will also run special train between Madgaon (Goa) and Mumbai. Trains will run between 06.12.2014 to 08.12.20 14. The Railway Minister has also directed to make adequate arrangements of water, lighting and other passenger facilities in the trains.

These trains are:-

1. Special train No. 01069 will leave Mumbai CST at 04.05 p.m. on 6.12.2014 and will reach Ajni at 08.10 a.m. next day.

2. Special train No. 01071 will leave Mumbai CST at 06.40 p.m. on 6.12.2014 and will reach Sevagram at 10.30 a.m. next day.

3. Special train No.01073 will leave Dadar at 00.40 a.m. on 7.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 06.00 p.m. same day.

4. Special train No.01075 will leave Mumbai CST at 12.35 p.m. on 7.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 3.30 a.m. next day.

5. Special train No.01083 will leave Mumbai CST at 06.40 p.m. on 8.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 12.10 pm next day.

6. Special train No.01085 will leave Dadar at 00.40 a.m. on 8.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 06.00 p.m. same day.

7. Special train will run from Madgaon to Mumbai on 5.12.2014 and return back from Mumbai on the evening of 6.12.2014.

All these specials will run with 12 General Second Class.

Halts for All these Special Trains : Dadar, Kalyan, Kasara, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Jalamb, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Damangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Sewagram, Ajni and Nagpur.
