David and Frederick Barclay, the billionaire owners of the Daily Telegraph, bid more than £600 million ($751 million) for London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, the Sunday Times reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter that it didn’t identify.

The property was put up for sale three years ago by its current owner, the Sahara Group. The company is controlled by Indian businessman Subrata Roy, who was imprisoned in early 2014 for allegedly defrauding investors and released on parole.
