The world’s largest furniture retail chain, Euro 25-billion IKEA, may settle for less number of product categories in the Indian market than it had proposed in its application to the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), but it is unlikely to compromise on the “concept” that the Scandinavian company represents across countries, according to sources in the know.
