Malaysian PM calls PM Singh for assistance
It is believed the Malaysian authorities might request for radar data from India

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Sunday called Prime Minister Manmohan Singh seeking technical assistance in the search operations of the missing Malaysian jet.
Razak has requested India to help in in corroborating the possible paths that the missing Malaysian airliner might have taken after losing contact with ATC radars. The PM has assured all possible help, official sources said.
It is believed the Malaysian authorities might request for radar data from India.
Earlier in the day, India had to suspend its search operations around the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean upon the Malaysian authorities’ directions.
