NEWSALERT: S&P revises US credit outlook to 'stable' from 'negative'

Standard & Poor's today upgraded its credit outlook for the US economy from 'Negative' to 'Stable'.

Current credit rating at 'AA+'

Credit upgrade includes strong monetary credibility, the rating's agency said today.

It also said that likelihood of near term downgrade for the US economy was less than 1 in 3.
