	Renowned Pakistani qawwali singer Amjad Sabri was shot dead here on Wednesday when unknown gunmen fired at his car, the media reported.</p>
<p>
	The attack took place in Liaquatabad area, <em>Dawn</em> reported.</p>
<p>
	Sabri and an associate were in the car when the gunmen opened fire, critically injuring him. The two were rushed to a hospital where Sabri succumbed to his injuries.</p>
