Donald Trump will likely abandon a campaign promise to resume an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server as secretary of state, a top aide said Tuesday after the Republican unveiled an early agenda that omitted many of his priorities as a candidate. Appearing on MSNBC, Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, didn’t dispute a report by the network that Trump wouldn’t pursue probes into Clinton’s e-mails or her family’s foundation. She suggested he would discourage congressional inquiries into Clinton as well.
