Harvard Business School is launching a Senior Executive Programme-India which will begin from July 17, 2016. This will be a year-long modular format with four in-class modules, two in Boston, two in Mumbai, as well as HBX Live virtual classroom sessions, personal coaching and a personal strategy project.

Das Narayandas, senior associate dean, executive education and publishing, Harvard Business School said that topics include Imperatives for Today's Organisation and Leaders, Driving Performance at Every Level, Creating and Capturing Value in a Global Context and Creating an Innovative, Agile, and Accountable Organisation.

He added that the programme is designed for experienced senior executives from any function, industry or country who want to take their business management and leadership ability to a new level. It is for executives who have 15-20 years of work experience and who want to take up senior leadership roles.

Indian executives had sought a programme where they could get the same rigorous content without spending a long time in the Boston campus. This programme has one week in Boston for module 1 in July 2016 and later two weeks in module 4 in May 2017. They expect to have 60-70 executives from various sectors in the programme. Scholarships are also offered to executives on selected basis.

HBS had 10,622 people being taught various executive education courses last year from across 76 industries. They also run about 45 custom programmes that are specially designed for particular companies every year.
