Aluminium up 0.3% on firm global cues

Firming domestic market demand supported the trade

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March edged higher by 30 paise, or 0.29%, to Rs 103.50 per kg in business turnover of 514 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in April traded higher by 25 paise, or 0.24%, to Rs 105.20 per kg in 80 lots.

Firming domestic market demand and speculators creating positions supported the trade.

At the London Metal Exchange (LME), aluminium climbed 0.3% to $1,942 a tonne.
