Apollo Tyres Inflates On Equity Move

Stocks of Apollo Tyres gained today after the company decided to forfeit the equity shares held by Harshad Mehta.

The scrip rose 11.89 per cent to close at Rs 143.00, off the intra-day low of Rs 129. Around 2.22 lakh shares were traded on the counter.
