Asian markets in red; Nikkei down 85pts

The Hang Seng is down 17 points at 15,585. The Nikkei has dropped 85 points at 8,822. However, the Shanghai Composite is up 19 points at 2,523.

The Straits Times has declined 14 points to 1,883, and the Seoul Composite is down 12 points at 1,317. The Taiwan Weighted has shed 33 points at 5,723.
