Asian markets lacklustre in early trades

The Asian markets have opened on a flat note. The Hang Seng is quoting at 21,352, weaker by 22 points or 0.1%, while the Nikkei is at 11,130, higher by 33 points or 0.3%.

Straits Times is at 2,917, lower by 15 points, while Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted are virtually unchanged at 1,700 and 7964 respectively.
