Asian markets open in green

Taking a cue from the developments in the US markets overnight, the Asian indices have opened in green.

Nikkei is quoting at 10,549 up by 155.38 points or 1.49% and Hang Seng  opened at 20,331 strengthened by 118.29 points or 0.59%.

Shanghai Composite is at 2,665 higher by 8.86 points or 0.33%, Taiwan Weighted at 7,705 up 102.56 points or 1.35% and Straits Times opened at   2,881 up by 1.15 points or 0.04%.
