Asian markets open lower

The Asian markets have opened lower. The Hang Seng is down 304 points (1.4%) at 20,804.

Straits Times is quoting at 2,952, weaker by 22 points or 0.7%, Seoul Composite is at 1,724, lower by 16 points or 0.9% and Taiwan Weighted is placed at 7,981, down 23 points or 0.2%.
