Asian markets open weak

Asian markets are in red this morning, mirroring cues from US markets. The Hang Seng has slumped 403 points (2%) to 20,360.

The Taiwan Weighted has shed 201 points (2.5%) to 7,729. The Shanghai Composite has dropped 54 points (2%) to 2,781.

The Straits Times has slipped 34 points (1%) to 2,867. Seoul Composite is flat at 1,719.
