Bankex rallies 20%; ICICI Bank surges 25%

The Bankex  zoomed 20% to 7,668 in the few minutes that the market was open today.

ICICI Bank zoomed 25% to Rs 720.

Axis Bank, Bank Of Baroda, Indian Overseas Bank and Kotak Bank surged 21% each to Rs 800, Rs 415, Rs 80, Rs 614, respectively.

SBI and Yes Bank soared 20% each to Rs 1,584 and Rs 115, respectively.

IDBI, Allahabad Bank, Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Indusind Bank, Karnataka Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce were up 15-18% each.
