Most of the base metals prices declined on the non-ferrous metal market here today on the back of speculative and stockists offerings amid a weak trend on the London Metal Exchange (LME).
However, tin and zinc prices moved up on good demand from consumer industries.
Nickel fell by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,130 against the overnight closing level of Rs 1,140.
Copper utensils scrap lost Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 339 from Rs 343 previously.
Copper cable scrap, copper armature and copper wire bar all moved down by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 364, Rs 355 and Rs 392 respectively.
Copper scrap heavy, copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting all edged down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 360, Rs 352 and Rs 262.
Brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils scrap both softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 255 and Rs 90 respectively.
Meanwhile, tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 970 from Rs 965 and zinc inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 118.
