Cardamom falls almost 1% on profit-booking
Sluggish spot demand kept pressure on the trade

Cardamom prices fell by 0.93% to Rs 736.40 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid sluggish spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June contract fell by Rs 6.90,or 0.93%, to Rs 736.40 per kg in 395 lots.
The July contract traded lower by Rs 5.40, or 0.70%, to Rs 762.90 per kg in 52 lots.
Market analysts said profit-booking by speculators at prevailing levels, triggered by sluggish spot demand, mainly kept pressure on cardamom prices at futures trade.
