Cashew prices declined by Rs 5 per kg today owing to fall in demand from retailers and stockists at existing higher levels.
Adequate stocks following increased arrivals from producing belts also weighed on the cashew prices.
Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 320) prices fell by Rs 5 each to Rs 635-645, Rs 575-585, Rs 520-525 and Rs 415-430 per kg, respectively.
Market analysts said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks led to decline in cashew kernel prices at the wholesale dry fruit market.
