Caustic soda prices declined by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today following reduced offtake by consuming industries against fresh arrivals from producing regions.
Caustic soda flake declined by Rs 50 to Rs 1,300-1,400 per 50 kg.
Traders said the decline in caustic soda prices in wholesale chemical market was mainly due to reduced offtake by consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts.
Elsewhere, prices of other chemicals remained steady on scattered deals.
