Caustic soda prices fell upto Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today on stockists selling coupled with reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the prices. Caustic soda flake fell upto Rs 50 to Rs 850-925 per 50 kg.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries, against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down caustic soda prices.
