Chilli falls 1.8% on sluggish demand
Adequate stocks in physical market fuelled the downtrend

Chilli futures for June fell by Rs 126, or 1.77% to Rs 6,982 per quintal in 1,3045 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract slid by Rs 104, or 1.55% to Rs 6,602 per quintal in 9,600 lots.
Prices fell as speculators trimmed their positions on the back of sluggish spot market demand.
Adequate stocks in physical market on increased arrivals from producing belts further fuelled the downtrend.
