CMC hits new high
The stock opened at Rs 1,992 and touched a high of Rs 2,119

CMC is trading higher by 2% at Rs 2,010 after the Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda said that the government is working on making railways office paperless in five years.
"We will take eco-tourism to northeastern states. e-Ticketing through mobile phones will be popularised," he said while presenting the Railway Budget earlier in the day. CMC is part of the Tata Group and is a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
The stock opened at Rs 1,992 and touched a high of Rs 2,119, also its record high on National Stock Exchange (NSE). A combined around 95,640 shares changed hands on the counter on NSE and BSE.
