Black Pepper

Lack of demand from stockists and processors coupled with higher imports from Vietnam and Sri Lanka are expected to keep black pepper prices under pressure. Prices can decline to Rs 69,700 a quintal.

Mustard seed

Mustard seed prices might continue to exhibit a firm trend this week. Seed arrivals have declined to 165,000 bags, from 180,000 bags last week. Demand for mustard oil is expected to remain robust, supporting demand from processors. Low arrivals, amid good crushing demand, might support prices, which are expected to head towards Rs 4,725 a quintal this week.
