Turmeric & Guar seed

Turmeric
Turmeric is currently trading at Rs 7,842 a quintal. Prices are under pressure since the past couple of sessions, tracking lower domestic demand.

The downside is expected to continue amid feeble demand, and prices can move towards Rs 7,800 a quintal.

Guar seed
Guar seeds are trading at Rs 3,550 per quintal in the Jodhpur market. Prices are expected to trade lower towards Rs 3,400, following subdued export demand. Exports of guar gum and split (refined guar gum) between October 1, 2015 and August 25, 2016 are pegged at 258,000 tonnes against 367,000 tonnes exported during the corresponding period last year.
