Crude oil down on weak Asian cues

Fall in crude oil futures prices in line with a weakening trend in Asian region

Crude oil futures declined by 0.43% to Rs 4,677 per barrel today in line with a weak trend in Asian trade.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the NOvember contract for crude oil shed Rs 20, or 0.43%, to Rs 4,677 per barrel, with a business volume of 14,679 lots.

The December contract moved down by Rs 19, or 0.40%, to Rs 4,728 per barrel, with a business turnover of 1,196 lots.

Marketmen said fall in crude oil futures prices was in line with a weakening trend in the Asian region.

Meanwhile, crude oil for delivery in December was down 16 cents to $86.93 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
